First piece from the FURNITURE series – NAWARA POUF. A pouf made entirely using upcycling. Crafted from leather offcuts left over in our studio from the bag cutting process. The filling consists of knit edges from the production of our HEAVY HOODIE. The design closes the cycle – all offcuts are reused in creating a new object. The only new elements are steel details – a silver NAWARA signature carabiner and a solid YKK zipper. Opening the zipper reveals the interior filled with offcuts – a tangible record of the upcycling process.
A daily object that combines raw form with responsible production. Not just furniture, but a statement of conscious design, merging aesthetics with accountability. Finished with an embossed NAWARA logo on one of the modules. Made to order only. Production time approx. 4 weeks. Fabric. steel, leather, cotton. 65 x 65 x 16 cm.
